A. By Having a Lack of Harmony in Marriage
24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
B. By Having a Child-centered Home ( where pleasing and serving the child is the dominant theme

1. A Christ-centered home is one in which each family member understands his biblical role in the family and is committed to please Christ more than himself.

1. A Christ-centered home is one in which each family member understands his biblical role in the family and is committed to please Christ more than himself.
2. A child-centered home, by definition, is one where the child believes and is allowed to behave as though the entire household, parents, siblings, and pets exist for one purpose—to please him.
Here are some things the child does because he believes this:
• interrupts adults when they are talking
• uses manipulation and rebellion to get his way
• dictates the family schedule (meals, bedtime, etc.)
• takes precedence over needs of spouse
• has an equal or an overriding vote in decisions
• demands excessive time and attention
• escapes the consequences of sinful and irresponsible behavior
• speaks to parents as peers
• is the dominant influence in the home
• is entertained and coddled out of c mood
